Job Description Summary

We are seeking a skilled Greek Localization Specialist to join our team at Welocalize. As a Localization QA Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our translations and helping us deliver exceptional results to our clients.

The ideal candidate will possess native-level fluency in Greek, strong technical skills, and experience working in translation. You will be responsible for conducting test cases, identifying localization bugs, and reporting them via our internal bug tracking system. Your attention to detail and ability to prioritize linguistic issues will be essential in this role.

Job Details:

  • Location: Onsite in Cupertino, CA (100% onsite attendance, no remote work) - client's shuttle available
  • Workweek: Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm (1 hour unpaid break from 12-1) = 35 hours a week
  • Hourly Rate: $35
  • Duration: Project-based
  • W-2 employee, eligible for benefits based on hours worked
  • Must have a US work permit

Requirements:

  • Native-level fluency in Greek (grammar, vocabulary, composition, punctuation)
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Experience working in translation
  • Tech savvy, with experience testing web-based systems and applications on Mac OS X and iOS
  • Ability to prioritize linguistic issues and distinguish between a true must-fix and a nice-to-have
  • Experience working with test cases and test scripts
  • Experience with bug tracking systems
  • Ability to clearly articulate reproduction steps for a given issue and communicate critical information
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work with very diverse teams
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong team ethic
