Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Greek Localization QA Tester/Proofreader to join our team at Welocalize. As a key member of our localization team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of our clients' software and content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough testing of software and content to identify localization bugs and issues
  • Report bugs and issues via our internal bug tracking system
  • Verify fixes and ensure that they meet our quality standards
  • Collaborate with our development team to resolve issues and improve our localization processes

Requirements:

  • Native-level fluency in Greek (grammar, vocabulary, composition, punctuation)
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Experience working in translation and localization
  • Tech savvy, with experience testing web-based systems and applications on Mac OS X and iOS
  • Ability to prioritize linguistic issues and distinguish between a true must-fix and a nice-to-have
  • Experience working with test cases and test scripts
  • Experience with bug tracking systems
  • Ability to clearly articulate reproduction steps for a given issue and communicate critical information
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work with diverse teams
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong team ethic
