We are seeking a skilled Localization QA Tester / Proofreader to join our team at Welocalize. As a Localization QA Tester / Proofreader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our translated content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct test cases to identify localization bugs and report them via our internal bug tracking system.
- Verify fixes once implemented and ensure that our translated content meets the highest standards of quality.
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement test cases and test scripts.
- Work closely with our developers to resolve issues and improve our translation processes.
Requirements:
- Native-level fluency in Portuguese (Portugal) and fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Experience working in translation and localization, with a strong understanding of linguistic and technical concepts.
- Technical skills, including experience testing web-based systems and applications on Mac OS X and iOS.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
