The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Solutions team in Valencia, Spain. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for providing financial support to our clients, including month-end reporting, intercompany transactions, and working capital management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss accounts
  • Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Assist with the preparation of management accounts and annual budgets
  • Support the Head of Operations Corporate Solutions with ad-hoc tasks and projects
  • Develop and maintain financial models and reports to support business decision-making

Requirements

  • 8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a financial services company
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, with Spanish competency desirable
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial modeling
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Supervisory experience and ability to mentor junior team members
