About the Role

The Grid Code Compliance team at DNV is responsible for verifying the performance of power plants, ensuring they meet grid code requirements. As a Grid Code Compliance Engineer, you will work with electrical engineers to simulate and test power plants, ensuring they can operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct electrical simulations to ensure grid code compliance
  • Certify electrical components and power plants, including assessment and reporting of results
  • Develop and maintain technical reports, critical reviews, and presentations for clients
  • Support project management of grid code compliance projects, including scope, schedule, and costs
  • Develop tools and processes to improve the quality and value of delivery
Additional Responsibilities
  • Install and commission measurement systems for grid code compliance or power quality verification
  • Conduct on-site testing, data monitoring, and analysis
  • Troubleshoot data acquisition systems and sensors
  • Specify, procure, and prepare measurement equipment
  • Monitor and analyze data from measurement campaigns according to international standards and internal best practices

About You

We are looking for an engineer with a degree in Electrical/Energetic/Mechanical/Physics or a similar field, with proficiency in MS Office Word and Excel. You should have a high level of electrical knowledge regarding power grids and experience with electrical simulation tools, such as Power Factory (Dig Silent). Native fluency in Spanish and high-level written and verbal communication skills in English are required. Italian or German is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree
  • Knowledge of electrical grid codes
  • Previous experience in energy, consulting, project management, electronics, or credentials
  • Programming experience in MATLAB, PYTHON, or IMC FAMOS
