Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Join the Eis Group team as a Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer and take on the challenge of designing, migrating, developing, and implementing Azure infrastructure components and their automated provisioning and configuration for efficient EIS applications and services deployments on Azure Cloud.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our CloudOps team, you will be responsible for the design, migration, development, and implementation of Azure infrastructure components and their automated provisioning and configuration for efficient EIS applications and services deployments on Azure Cloud.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Azure infrastructure components, including virtual networks, storage, and security.
  • Migrate existing infrastructure to Azure, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to business operations.
  • Develop and implement automated provisioning and configuration scripts using tools like Ansible and Terraform.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of Azure infrastructure with EIS applications and services.
  • Continuously challenge existing practices and propose improvements to optimize Azure infrastructure and reduce costs.
  • Implement Azure networking for enterprise organizations, including hybrid environments and secure connectivity.
  • Manage and monitor Azure environments, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Strong experience with Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Monitor.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) models, including Ansible and Terraform.
  • Knowledge of network administration, VPN/IPSec, and internet routing protocols.
  • Experience with Git and source code management best practices.
  • Experience building and deploying Azure resources using IaC - Terraform.
  • Experience with Azure AKS and good Linux OS administration knowledge.
  • Experience with Azure monitoring and logging tools (ELK).
