Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Cleanliness Manager to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our Housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our quality standards
  • Run sold room reports and verify room status to identify any discrepancies
  • Prioritize room cleaning and update the status of departing guest rooms
  • Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities and coordinating with other departments
  • Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms
  • Prepare and distribute changes in room assignments
  • Communicate with next shift and complete required paperwork
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 55 pounds
  • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Supervisory experience in a hotel or hospitality environment
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and control procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
