Beverage Development Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Beverage Development Expert to join our team at ADM in Valencia. This is an exciting opportunity for you to leverage your expertise in product development and application of beverage and food solutions.

About the Role

You will be responsible for coordinating and managing customer product development projects, supporting the development process from concept generation to industrial manufacturing. You will also provide guidance and technical support on final product formulation and manufacturing to our commercial team for Spanish customers.

Your Responsibilities

• Fully understand ADM's product and service portfolio
• Create, develop and maintain a local/regional product portfolio
• SUPPORT THE SPANISH BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PLAN FROM THE TECHNICAL SITE
• Follow and understand the business strategy of regional and local key accounts
• Provide technical support on final product formulation and manufacturing
• Set goals and priorities to achieve business objectives
• Process sample orders in the IT system
• Conduct sensory and physical assessment, control and qualification of developments
• Provide samples for shipment to national and international customers
• Review ingredients and adapt formulations in compliance with cost and quality specifications
• Ensure compliance with ISO processes and assigned laboratory tasks
• Support customer presentations and internal product presentations

About You

• BS Degree or MS Degree in Food Science and Technology, Chemistry or Pharmacist
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in food and beverage industry
• A strong background and experience in product development and application of beverage and food solutions
• Food and beverage manufacturing experience and well networked in the industry
• Excellent project management skills
• The ability to shape the future of individuals, teams and the organization
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong communication skills
• Solid PC skills and affinity with IT tools (SAP and Salesforce)
• Knowledge in EU regulatory environment
• Willingness to travel and spend approximately 30% of time outside Valencia
