About the Role:

The Process Technology Engineer will be responsible for the optimization of our new probiotics production facility to meet strategic business plans and customer requirements. This will involve collaboration with project engineers, technology engineers, the operations team, and R&D to implement process improvements and ensure the smooth operation of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the performance of the probiotics production facility.
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Lead the tech transfer of new probiotic strains from R&D and external partners.
• Serve as a technical partner for the site, including production and maintenance employees, plant operations, and leadership team.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience with probiotics development/process optimization, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Expert understanding of probiotics fermentation processes.
• Experience with optimization/analytical processes and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with plant engineers, operators, R&D, and upper management.
• Willingness to spend time in plant areas on a regular basis.
