About the Role

Hitachi Energy is seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to support the newly created Operational Center in Madrid. As a key member of our global HR Business Partner team, you will play a critical role in driving business success by providing strategic HR expertise and support to our operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Organization Development

Develop and implement strategies to build a high-performing organization, aligned with the company's overall business objectives.

  1. Staffing and Engagement

Oversee staffing processes and drive engagement initiatives to foster a cohesive and motivated workforce, considering both local and global perspectives.

  1. HR Process Implementation

Drive the implementation of HR processes, including workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, and other relevant processes, to ensure seamless execution and compliance with HR and labor law regulations.

  1. Culture, People, and Organization

Collaborate with operational and strategic stakeholders to drive business outcomes, focusing on culture, people, and organization development.

  1. Stakeholder Relationships

Establish and maintain strong relationships with labor and key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

  1. Business Acumen and HR Expertise

Understand business needs and provide strategic HR support, applying HR policies and processes to achieve long-term objectives and ensure compliance with regulations.

  1. Coaching and Development

Provide coaching and support to management on HR topics, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the business and its needs.

About You

We are looking for an HR professional with a strong background in HR Business Partnering, preferably within the power and energy industry or a similar international company with a complex matrix organization. Your expertise should include:

  1. Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

  1. Experience

Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role, with a strong track record of leading projects and implementing new procedures.

  1. Knowledge and Skills

In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, labor relations, and legal regulations in Spain. Strong understanding of talent acquisition, performance management, training and development, and employee relations.

  1. Personal Qualities

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights.
