Technical Sales Support Specialist - Measurement & Analytics Instrumentation

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Technical Sales Support Specialist to join our Measurement & Analytics team in Spain and Portugal. As a key member of our Process Automation business line, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Measurement & Analytics Sales team and customers during the proposal process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer technical advice and solutions to customers, channels, and Sales Specialists on ABB products, systems, and applications.
  • Perform analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain new sales opportunities and resolve specific customer problems, ensuring achievement of targets on orders, Net Price Variance (NPV), and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
  • Ensure the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned product groups and in the respective countries.
Requirements:
  • Highly skilled in working with instrumentation products in the Water, Energy, Chemical, and O&G markets.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Sales Support and direct contact with customers, as well as experience working with Instrumentation such as Flowmeters, Pressure Transmitters, Temperature Transmitters, and Level Transmitters.
  • Enhanced knowledge of Salesforce, SAP, and Office.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and possess analytical thinking and communicative approach.
  • Precise and well-organized work style.
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a similar field.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English.
