About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving performance measurement, innovation, and execution in Fulfillment Center Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate Business Opportunities into Innovative Solutions: Collaborate with business partners to identify opportunities for growth and develop innovative Business Intelligence solutions to drive data-driven decisions.
  • Manage Data Pipelines and Tech Solutions: Manage intake, coordinate, and gather requirements from business partners to handle increased data volume and demand for more cost-efficient and scalable data pipelines and tech solutions.
  • Design and Implement Technical Solutions: Prioritize initiatives, design, and implement technical solutions with appropriate strategies and design principles to meet business needs.
  • Develop Data Pipelines and Dashboards: Identify, design, and create data pipelines to feed Business Intelligence tools and dashboards, and develop metrics and KPIs to translate them into insightful dashboards using Business Intelligence tools.
Requirements
  • Experience in Data/BI Space: Proven experience in the data/BI space, with expertise in data visualization, data analysis, and data modeling.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools, as well as experience with databases such as Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, and scripting languages such as Python.
  • AWS Experience: Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift, and experience developing and presenting recommendations of new metrics allowing better understanding of the performance of the business.
