About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to join our Process and Systems Engineering (PSE) team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing innovative analytics solutions to drive business performance and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Implement Analytics Solutions
    Translate business requirements into actionable analytics solutions, leveraging extensive datasets to drive data-driven decisions and build models that address critical questions for our stakeholders.
  2. Manage Data Pipelines and Intake
    Coordinate and gather requirements from business partners to handle increased data volume and demand for more cost-efficient and scalable data pipelines and technical solutions.
  3. Prioritize Initiatives and Design Technical Solutions
    Prioritize initiatives, design and implement technical solutions with appropriate strategies and design principles.
  4. Develop Data Pipelines and Metrics
    Identify, design, and create data pipelines to feed business intelligence tools and dashboards, and develop metrics and KPIs to translate them into insightful dashboards using business intelligence tools.
About the Team

The PSE team is a group of operational leaders driving process innovation, stabilization, standardization, and continuous improvement for all fulfillment centers in the EU, focusing on Amazon Robotics FC Network. This team is essential to establish best-in-class network performance across all performance paths, accelerate implementation of technology advancements, and strengthen the technical acumen and process knowledge for operational leaders across the FC network.

Requirements
  1. Experience in Data/BI Space
    Experience in the data/business intelligence space, with a strong understanding of data visualization, data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
  2. Data Visualization and Analysis
    Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools, and experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
  3. SQL and Scripting
    Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling.
  4. AWS Solutions
    Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
  5. Business Acumen
    Experience developing and presenting recommendations of new metrics allowing better understanding of the performance of the business.
