Job Title: Denied Party Screening Specialist

TD SYNNEX is seeking a Denied Party Screening Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Regulatory Compliance team, you will be responsible for screening potential or existing business partners, customers, suppliers, and any other entities as per TD SYNNEX policies and regulations through various organizations and in various systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Regulatory Compliance team in ensuring compliance with TD SYNNEX policies and regulations.
  • Screen names and addresses against Denied Party lists as directed by TD SYNNEX Regulatory Compliance policies-regulations.
  • Make decisions and record evidence.
  • Escalate to managers when appropriate.
  • Follow procedures as per SOPs in place.
  • Classify ECCNs.
  • Handle compliance-related correspondence in a timely and compliant manner.
Requirements:
  • Entry-level (0 to 1 years of relevant work experience).
  • Able to execute instructions and request clarification when needed.
  • Able to converse and write effectively in English and other local/regional languages.
  • Understand, communicate, and collaborate effectively with people across various identities.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Able to collaborate and build solid, effective working relationships with others.
Desirable Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of EU import-export Customs Regulations.
  • Knowledge of EU and US classification and export control of products containing encryption and export license processing.
  • Experience/knowledge of international trade.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Great teamwork.
  • Enquiring mind and critical analysis.
  • Good standard of education (University degree is an advantage).
  • Ability to speak and write effectively in English and local language; ability in other European languages would be an advantage.
  • Relevant experience working in compliance, international trade.
  • Good computer-related skills, including MS Office, business intelligence, or SAP Analysis (an advantage).
  • Relevant previous work experience is desirable but not essential.
Working Conditions:
  • Home office (80%).
  • Monday to Friday, working hours include early morning and late evening shifts, some weekend work may be required, same as late night cover.
  • Required to work on public holidays.
  • Temporary Contract (12 months).
