Denied Party Screening Specialist

TD SYNNEX is seeking a highly skilled Denied Party Screening Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Regulatory Compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our business partners, customers, and suppliers meet our policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Regulatory Compliance team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date Denied Party lists
- Screen names and addresses against these lists to identify potential compliance risks
- Make informed decisions and record evidence to support these decisions
- Elevate issues to managers when necessary to ensure compliance
- Follow established procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Classify Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN) for compliance purposes
- Manage compliance-related correspondence to ensure timely and effective communication
- Entry-level position (0-1 years of relevant work experience)
- Ability to execute instructions and request clarification when needed
- Effective communication and writing skills in English and local languages
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Collaboration and teamwork skills
- Basic knowledge of EU import-export Customs Regulations
- Knowledge of EU and US classification and export control of products containing encryption and export license processing
- Experience/knowledge of international trade
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Enquiring mind and critical analysis
- Good standard of education (university degree an advantage)
- Proficiency in MS Office and business intelligence/SAP analysis (an advantage)
- Home office (80%)
- Monday to Friday, with early morning and late evening shifts, and occasional weekend work
- Required to work on public holidays
- Temporary contract (12 months)
