About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operational Process Improvement Specialist to join our team at Scope Group, focusing on reinforcing controls by the first line of business. As an Operational Process Improvement Specialist, your primary responsibility will be the design, implementation, and reinforcement of processes to enhance first-line controls primarily related to client on-boarding, transmission of rating orders to analytical teams, production of credit ratings, and their release.

Your role will play a crucial part in maintaining and improving the effectiveness of our operational procedures and entails significant coordination and project management with a problem-solving oriented attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Implementation: Design, develop, implement, and refine processes and procedures within operational processes in the analytical department.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for processes, procedures, and control enhancements, maintaining a clear and organized record of changes and updates.
  • Control Enhancement: Collaborate with the first line of business to identify control weaknesses and design solutions to strengthen first-line controls effectively.
  • KPI Monitoring: Monitor outsourcing agreements.
  • First Line Controls: Exhibit strong project management skills to drive initiatives related to control enhancement and process optimization, including the following specific projects:
    • Coordination of Analyst Rotation: Oversee the coordination of analyst rotation within the first line of business.
    • Revision of Regulatory Disclosure and Reporting Procedures: Take the lead in revising all regulatory disclosure and reporting procedures to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Compliance: Ensure that all first-line activities align with regulatory standards and monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

  • Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) computer skills.
  • Strong knowledge of dynamic project and workflow tools, e.g., JIRA, Asana, ARIS.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
