About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Management Specialist to join our Integrated Informatics team at F. Hoffmann-La Roche Gruppe. As a key member of our Data & Analytics Chapter, you will play a critical role in driving and promoting efficient and effective information management throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data management strategies to improve business performance and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with senior business and IT leaders to identify information value opportunities and provide decision support.
  • Act as the informatics representative to define information and data strategies as part of an overall business strategy.
  • Identify areas for improvement in terms of information flows and structure, automation, and information representation.
  • Improve the overall quality of enterprise data assets through the effective application of best practice in information design.
  • Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, making continuous adjustments to reflect changing priorities and market dynamics.
  • Transform requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and mockups that guide the development process.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in data strategy and data governance, preferably in a consulting environment with a minimum Bachelor's degree.
  • Principal focus on enterprise information solutions, such as master data management, metadata management, business intelligence, data interoperability, data analysis, data quality, and data integration.
  • Understanding of the Data Mesh paradigm.
  • Agile mindset.
  • Understanding of database structures and their relationships, as well as data models and data standards.
  • Ability to create advanced SQL queries and work with REST APIs through tools such as Postman.
