About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Junior Sales Engineer to join our team at Valmet. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for creating opportunities and quotations, reviewing standard quotations, and responding to customer inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers to understand their technical requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.
  2. Collaborate with sales support engineers and product management to ensure that products and services are configured according to customer needs.
  3. Process and check orders to group factories and sub-suppliers, using Indian Order handling team.
  4. Support existing customers to select the best product and share feedback with the team.
  5. Participate in internal projects and training to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  6. Meet quality and HSE criteria defined by Valmet.
Requirements
  1. M.Sc or B.Sc in Engineering field.
  2. Experience in similar position.
  3. Experience in Flow Control fields and valves related background will be valued.
  4. Demonstrated success from a similar environment and be a strong communicator (written and verbal) in English.
  5. Personal qualities characterized by a combination of autonomy with a great sense of proactivity and initiative.
  6. Team player, committed to quality, results driven and customer oriented.
