Senior M&A Transaction Analyst

**Job Summary:**
Sin Nombre is seeking a highly skilled Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Financial Analyst to join our Finance organization. As a key member of our M&A Advisory Department, you will provide finance input to transactions throughout the transaction process, including structuring, valuation, due diligence, and support to negotiations and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer expert and unbiased guidance to senior management to facilitate decision-making regarding M&A valuations on specific transactions.
- Assist in the development and execution of M&A transactions through comprehensive financial analysis, including constructing and utilizing intricate financial models, conducting risk and uncertainty assessments, and generating financial statements.
- Source and oversee valuation inputs from various internal and external sources, providing advice on identified gaps, deficiencies, and risks.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members in specialized areas.
- Contribute to ongoing enhancements of processes and methodologies to establish a center of excellence for valuation within the company.
- Undertake ad hoc financial analysis tasks, such as transfer pricing assessments, impairment reviews, Shareek incentives evaluations, and group policy reviews.
- Oversee external Financial Advisors and consultants for valuation activities on transactions, cultivating relationships with banks to offer external insights on the M&A landscape to the company.
Requirements:
- Accumulate over 10 years of relevant experience in conducting financial analysis for M&A transactions, typically acquired in leading investment banks, accounting firms, or large international corporations.
- Demonstrate significant involvement in large and intricate cross-border transactions within the energy or natural resources sectors.
- Possess expert-level proficiency in financial analysis tools and methodologies, with a solid understanding of financial statements, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and international taxation.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, or Engineering; while an advanced business degree (e.g., MBA) or Accounting qualification is preferred, it's not mandatory.
- Exhibit strong numerical skills, coupled with methodical organization and adaptability to challenging and dynamic work environments, capable of managing competing priorities with minimal supervision.
- Display confident communication skills, both verbal and written, and excel as a team player, swiftly integrating into diverse teams and offering experience in coaching and mentoring other team members.
