We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Credit Analyst to join our European Structured Finance team at Fitch Group. As a Credit Analyst, you will play a critical role in maintaining existing ratings and assigning ratings to new structured finance transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Implement default, recovery, and cash flow modelling to provide high-quality credit opinions to investors and other market participants.
- Review transaction legal documents to ensure compliance with Fitch's rating criteria.
- On-site review of underwriting and servicing of transaction originators and CLO managers to assess credit risk.
- Prepare rating proposals for presentation to internal rating committees.
- Communicate rating rationale to investors and other market participants through presale reports, presentations, and meetings.
- Communicate with transaction arrangers and originators to understand asset characteristics and structural features of the transactions.
- Assist in the development of criteria and supporting research to enhance Fitch's credit rating capabilities.
- Highly motivated and experienced finance professional with prior experience in credit analysis.
- Knowledge of securitisation structures and in particular CLOs is highly desirable.
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze complex financial data.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate complex credit analysis to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
