Job Description

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sustainable profitable sales and market share growth by identifying customer needs and opportunities, establishing solid customer relationships, and promoting relevant IFF fragrance solutions aligned with our corporate strategy.

This role involves collaborating with internal departments to explore innovations and new concepts related to customers' products and ongoing projects. You will also be responsible for monitoring market development, partnering with the operation team to ensure customer satisfaction, and managing relationships between different functions from the customer and IFF.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain sustainable relationships with internal and external customers
  • Prepare account plans and report relevant market information
  • Achieve profitable sales growth with the customer
  • Ensure financial targets are met and business performance is constantly monitored and reported
  • Collaborate with internal departments to explore innovations and new concepts related to customers' products and ongoing projects
  • Monitor market development in terms of competitors, products, and trends
  • Partner with operation team to ensure customer satisfaction in terms of service, quality, and supply
  • Manage relationships between different functions from the customer and IFF
  • Provide timely information necessary for all matters relating to the service of the accounts

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in a relevant discipline, preferably in Business, Economy, Marketing, or Chemistry
  • At least 5 years' experience in sales, sales service, product development, or marketing in the Fragrance Industry, preferably fine fragrance industry
  • Olfactive knowledge and skills in the Fine fragrance segment
  • Fluency in business English, French, and Spanish
  • Ability to deal with basic financial concepts/processes
  • Passion in fragrance with strong interests in product development, consumers, and market understanding
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
