About Four Seasons Resort and Residences Los Cabos at Costa Palmas

We invite applications for the position of Network Support Specialist at our luxurious resort located in Los Cabos, Mexico. Our exclusive resort community offers private marina and members-only beach and yacht club facilities situated along a stunning stretch of white sand and swimmable waters of the Sea of Cortez.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network support and security, with experience in Active Directory maintenance, Server Infrastructure maintenance, and Network Infrastructure maintenance. A minimum of two years of work experience in an IT department is required, and one plus year's experience working within a luxury hotel environment is highly regarded. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, cross-cultural sensitivity, and customer service orientation are essential for this role. Additionally, knowledge of Spanish and English is a must.

Responsibilities:
  • Network support and security of Hotel network, Active Directory maintenance, Server Infrastructure maintenance, Network Infrastructure maintenance - wired & wireless.
  • Critical systems, specifically Front Office Property Management System, Call Accounting, HSIA, PABX, and Food & Beverage Point of Sales computer systems are available twenty-four (24) hours per day.
  • Systems Administration, including maintaining user/group accounts, user configuration, trouble-shooting access problems and completion of on-site documentation.
  • Good knowledge and support for Desktop OS and applications including patches.
  • Administer Outlook, connection to global VPN and other communication tools.
  • Assist in the process of systems backup and recovery procedures.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of two (2) years working in IT department.
  • One + years' experience working within a luxury hotel or similar environment is considered an asset.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity and customer service orientation.
  • Guest centricity and understanding of the importance of guest preferences.
