Within the Hitachi Energy Transformers business unit, we are seeking a dedicated and innovative RD Circularity Program Manager to join our Technology Center.

This role focuses on optimizing the lifecycle of our transformer products and services to ensure minimal environmental impact.

The RD Circularity Program Manager will introduce eco-design principles to enhance the durability, reparability, and recyclability of transformer materials and components.

The successful candidate will collaborate internally and externally with dismantlers, recyclers, startups, and academia to drive RD activities that prioritize efficient material separation, recovery, and reuse.

The RD Circularity Program Manager will ensure our processes and products align with current and upcoming circularity regulatory and compliance legislations.

Responsibilities include leading and contributing to RD projects, conducting feasibility studies, and developing strong partnerships with external stakeholders.

The RD Circularity Program Manager will maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving regulations and provide guidance to internal teams on regulatory requirements and best practices for circularity.

This role requires a strong understanding of the circular economy and the ability to drive innovation and sustainability initiatives within the organization.

The successful candidate will be a key contributor to our sustainability efforts and will play a critical role in shaping the future of our business.
