Country Manager Spain

About the Role:
NewCold Melbourne is seeking a highly experienced Country Manager to lead our business in Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for heading and building our business in the Spanish market, working closely with our anchor client, and developing relationships with potential new clients and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with NewCold's Development department during the construction of the new warehouse and ensure the new site meets all operational needs.
- Supervise NewCold's Warehouse and Transport activities in the country to deliver the best service to the customer, maintain sustainable and profitable growth, and ensure compliance with local rules and regulations.
- Represent the company in front of current customers and other stakeholders in the country, and be accountable for presenting an Annual Operating Plan and managing investments within budget.
- Implement effective structures to meet targets, ensure proper implementation of quality systems, and provide results to HQ on a monthly basis.
- Organize the monthly Country Meeting and ensure compliance with country legislation, maintain team training, and create a positive image of the company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Management of an Operational Business Unit or company in the Warehousing, Supply Chain, Transport, or Food Production industry in Spain.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Leadership role in a fast-paced environment, with experience in Change and Transition Management.
- Professional Communication & Empathy, Business Development & Relationship Management, and Professional / Advanced English language skills.
