Financial Analyst Job Description

This role is with Amazon, an inclusive employer and a member of Mygwork – the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community. We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Amazon Vendor Services team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to analyze vendor financial deductions based on supply chain process issues. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data analysis, excellent project management skills, and experience interfacing with external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze financial and operational defects and identify root causes for financial deductions.
  • Define joint action plans to resolve critical disputes or hold situations with vendors.
  • Facilitate regular progress reviews with vendors to create sustainable long-term results.
  • Cooperate and build trusting relationships across job functions and levels within the vendor's organization.
  • Work on cross-functional projects with internal stakeholders related to new process creation and improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in creating comprehensive analysis for senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
