About the Role

Vodafone is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Radio Access Network Engineer. As a key member of our Open RAN Product Strategy and Planning team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our radio access network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive the Open RAN product roadmap, including the associated 3-year plan and TCO evolution.
  • Support commercial processes through RFQ best practices to shortlist vendors and maximize their technical and commercial capabilities and efficiencies.
  • Shape, develop, and deliver Open RAN solutions and innovation from high-level specifications to validated products that can be deployed in the field.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in mobile operator/Radio supplier environment in the fields of 2G/3G/4G/5G Radio Access Networks.
  • Experience in software or hardware development of RAN products or functions.
  • Proven track record for successful development and delivery of new Radio technologies/final customer solutions.
  • Experience in delivering RFI/RFP/RFQ management and evaluation.
  • Top customer relationship, and PowerPoint presentation preparation skills.
  • Programme Management Skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English.
