At Dac Beachcroft LLP, we are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Property Recoveries team in Birmingham. As a key member of our Claims Solutions Group, you will play a crucial role in providing expert and practical advice on a range of areas, including subrogated property, casualty, and travel recoveries, uninsured loss recoveries, and recovery of overpayments and duplicate payments.

Our specialist team provides expert and practical advice to clients, and we are currently accepting applications from experienced paralegals who are looking for an exciting career within a supportive team and ambitious firm.

As a Property Recoveries Paralegal, you will be responsible for effectively running a full caseload of pre-litigated and litigated files to ensure deadlines are met and cases managed proactively to conclusion. You will work closely with our team to devise a clear case strategy, apply appropriate and current technical expertise and case law, and ensure cases reach repudiation/settlement and the archiving procedure is completed as quickly as possible.

You will also be responsible for managing risk and compliance issues within each case, engaging with clients where appropriate to maximise opportunities to meet and build rapport with clients, and contributing to Business Development and client relationship activity in support of the Account Manager.

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a degree in Law (LLB or equivalent) or Cilex qualification and relevant legal experience. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to work to deadlines, prioritize your workload, and meet conflicting demands. You will also have a commercial perspective and be able to adopt a commercial approach to claims settlement.
