Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our IT systems for the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Participate in agile Scrum teams to develop, enhance, and maintain our product solutions.
  2. Develop API interfaces and business services for aeronautical applications.
  3. Provide guidance to Junior Developers, prepare development tasks / tickets, conduct code reviews, and pair programming.
  4. Develop enterprise-quality, horizontally scalable code using best practices quickly and according to specifications.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 5 years experience as a self-motivated engineer with using Kafka, Java, Spring / Quarkus and related technologies.
  2. Extensive experience with Microservices, Event-Sourcing, open-source data solutions and cloud native applications.
  3. Subject matter expertise in infrastructure / hardware / software / database middleware stack.
  4. Engineering experience in Kafka / Confluent and knowledge of Kafka APIs.
  5. Relevant knowledge of best practices related to security, performance and disaster recovery.
  6. Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  7. Good English language skills (C1).
  8. Hold valid European passport.
