**Job Summary**
The Financial Director will be responsible for safeguarding the hotel's assets and financial resources, ensuring they are utilized to maximize operating results. This role requires a strong understanding of financial management and a proven track record of achieving timely and accurate financial information.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement financial strategies to maximize operating results
- Provide timely and accurate financial information to the executive team
- Ensure compliance with local and corporate guidelines and deadlines
- Monitor and control revenues and expenses, making recommendations as needed
- Review and optimize the use of funds
- Prepare and submit quarterly self-assessment reports and monthly forecasts
- Review and sign balance sheet reconciliations
**Talent Development**
The Financial Director will also be responsible for identifying and developing talent within the finance department and throughout the hotel. This includes actively supporting and implementing talent development initiatives, identifying training needs, and conducting regular appraisals with team members.
**Requirements**
