Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role
This is a maternity leave replacement and we offer a temporary contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the receipt of raw materials and production material.
- Ensure correct order and cleaning of cabinets and refrigerators for storage of reagents, standards, raw materials and production material.
- Support the head of Quality Control in the execution of various activities under the responsibility of the Department of Quality Control.
- Perform necessary activities for the correct execution of laboratory quality control activities.
- Assist in the management of radioactivity measuring instruments and handling of decontamination tanks.
- Execute quality controls of different radiopharmaceuticals.
- Manage analytical techniques such as HPLC, gas chromatography, TLC, pH-meter, activity meter, and method of detection of endotoxins.
- Ensure compliance with correct manufacturing standards applied to the quality control of Radiopharmaceuticals.
- Collaborate in the implementation and revalidation of quality control processes.
Requirements:
- Strong affinity with and awareness of quality issues.
- Open and clear collaboration and communication to ensure daily operation runs smoothly.
- Ability to work under pressure and understanding of sense of urgency around given tasks.
- Fluent Spanish, medium-good knowledge of English is preferred.
- Radiation safety education.
