About the Role
This is a maternity leave replacement position, offering a temporary contract. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Quality Control Department in ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GxP) and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the receipt and storage of raw materials and production materials, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control.
- Coordinate the cleaning and organization of storage facilities, including cabinets and refrigerators, to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Support the Head of Quality Control in executing various activities, including the preparation of standards and reagents, microbiological monitoring, and management of counter-samples and external quality control samples.
- Under the coordination of the Response QC, perform necessary activities for the correct execution of laboratory quality control tasks.
- Assist in the management of radioactivity measuring instruments, including environmental monitoring probes, pollutants, and dosimeters, as well as decontamination tanks.
- Execute quality controls for various radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring compliance with manufacturing standards.
- Manage analytical techniques, including HPLC, gas chromatography, TLC, pH-meter, activity meter, and endotoxin detection methods.
- Collaborate in the implementation and revalidation of quality control processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Strong understanding of quality issues and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Fluent Spanish language skills, with medium-good knowledge of English preferred.
Desirable Requirements:
- Radiation safety education or training.
