Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality control in the production of radiopharmaceuticals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the receipt and storage of raw materials and production materials.
- Ensure the correct order and cleaning of cabinets and refrigerators for storage of reagents, standards, raw materials, and production materials.
- Support the head of Quality Control in the execution of various activities, including the preparation of standards and reagents, micro-biological monitoring of pharmaceutical facilities, and management of Counter-sample and dispatch of samples to external companies for complementary quality control.
- Perform quality controls of different radiopharmaceuticals and manage analytical techniques such as HPLC, gas chromatography, TLC, pH meter, activity meter, and method of detection of endotoxins.
- Collaborate in the implementation and revalidation of quality control processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Strong affinity with and awareness of quality issues.
- Open and clear collaboration and communication to ensure the daily operation runs smoothly.
- Capability to work under pressure and understanding of sense of urgency around given tasks.
- Fluent in Spanish, medium-good knowledge of English is preferred.
Desirable Requirements:
- Radiation safety education.
