Your expertise will be instrumental in providing specialist medical/scientific input for core medical affairs activities, including healthcare professional/provider interactions, clinical and scientific data generation, and educational initiatives.
You will work closely with sales, marketing, and commercial teams to provide strategic medical input into core brand strategies and support medical/marketing activities. In addition, you will establish and approve scientific methods for hypotheses, rationale, design of affiliate/Area/Global protocols, and their reports.
Key responsibilities include:
- Participating in the design and execution of clinical trial safety, product safety, and risk management plans
- Reviewing, assessing, and reporting applicable Adverse Events (AEs) and Serious Adverse Events (SAEs)
- Overseeing the conduct of clinical trials and being medically and scientifically accountable for resolution of safety issues
- Providing scientific/medical education to investigators, clinical monitors, and Global Project Team members
You will be responsible for staying up-to-date with professional information and technology through conferences and/or medical literature and acting as a therapeutic area resource. Additionally, you will be accountable for understanding regulatory requirements related to clinical studies and global drug development and complying with those requirements.
