Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team at Airbus. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the development of electrical systems for our aeronautical applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-develop electrical machines, energy storage, and exterior lighting systems for existing and future aeronautical applications.
  • Integrate battery systems, considering different sizing needs and understanding the impact on the type of chemistry and cell format to be used.
  • Integrate electrical machines on engine environments, understanding design constraints of rotating machines.
  • Integrate exterior lighting systems, considering installation and environmental constraints, and optical performance requirements.
  • Define and evaluate control and protection strategies for electrical equipment, including high-voltage and power phenomena.
  • Perform design trades and evaluate equipment topologies and underlying technology bricks, focusing on maturation and implementation capabilities.
  • Co-develop equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with defined standards of safety, cost, quality, time, performance, and maturity.
  • Follow up with suppliers throughout the development cycle.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, or Aeronautical Engineering or related studies.
  • General knowledge of electrics.
  • Advanced level of English (C1 level).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Learning orientation.
  • Proactive attitude.
