Job Description:

The main tasks will involve:

  1. Co-developing electrical machines, energy storage, and exterior lighting systems for existing and future aeronautical applications.
  2. Integrating battery systems, considering different sizing needs and understanding the impact on the type of chemistry and cell format to be used.
  3. Integrating an electrical machine on an engine environment, understanding the design constraints of a rotating machine.
  4. Integrating exterior lighting systems, considering their installation and environmental constraints, and optical performance requirements.
  5. Defining and evaluating different control and protection strategies for electrical equipment, including high voltage/power phenomena.
  6. Performing design trades and evaluating equipment topologies and underlying technology bricks, focusing on maturation and implementation capabilities.
  7. Co-developing equipment/systems ensuring compliance with defined standards of safety, cost, quality, time, performance, and maturity.
  8. Following up with suppliers throughout the entire development cycle.
Required Skills:
  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Aeronautical Engineering, or related studies.
  • General knowledge on Electrics.
  • Advanced level of English (C1 level).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Learning orientation.
  • Proactive attitude
