About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Machine Systems Engineer to join our team at Airbus. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and integrating electrical machines for our aircraft platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Electrical Machine Design and Integration: Develop and integrate electrical machines for existing and future aircraft platforms, ensuring compliance with defined standards of safety, cost, quality, time, performance, and maturity.
  2. System Engineering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and integrate electrical machines, including interactions with stakeholders such as program management, flight and lab tests, supply chain, system installation, airframe, quality, procurement, certification, chief engineering, and subcontractors.
  3. Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain technical expertise in electrical machine design, integration, and control, including experience with power electronics and high voltage applications.
  4. Supplier Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of electrical machines and components.
  5. Simulation and Modeling: Develop and use simulation models to evaluate electrical machine performance and make design trades.
Requirements
  1. Education: Degree in Aeronautical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
  2. Experience: Proven experience in electrical machine integration, design, and control, as well as system engineering processes, V&V, supplier management, and project management.
  3. Skills: Strong technical expertise in electrical machine design, integration, and control, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.
