Science Teacher Opportunity at King's College

We are seeking a dynamic and inspiring Science teacher to join our team at King's College in Madrid. As a Science teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students in KS3 and IGCSE/GCSE levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a role model for teaching and learning
  • Make a distinctive contribution to raising standards across the school
  • Develop own expertise in Science and the art of teaching
  • Provide a sustained and consistent collaborative contribution to the wider work of the school
  • Proactively seek, create and lead on opportunities that have a demonstrably positive impact on creating an outstanding learning environment
Requirements:
  • Experience of teaching KS3 Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology)
  • Experience of teaching one or more of the sciences at IGCSE/GCSE level
  • Independent sector or international experience is highly desirable
  • Excellent working knowledge of the English National Curriculum, the IB Diploma and recent developments
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Pastoral responsibility or experience would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Spanish, or willingness to learn Spanish would be an advantage
