About the Role:

Runnymede College in Madrid, Spain is seeking an exceptional Science teacher to join our team from September 2025. The successful candidate will be passionate about Science and committed to achieving the best results for pupils at all levels.

The ideal candidate will have a good honours degree from a British University, a PGCE or equivalent qualified teacher status for Science teaching, and excellent teamwork skills. They will be able to engage and motivate pupils using effective methods of teaching and differentiation.

The successful applicant will have:

  • a good honours degree from a British University
  • a PGCE or other equivalent qualified teacher status for Science teaching
  • excellent teamwork skills and be willing to collaborate on planning and resourcing
  • the ability to modify learning strategies to target the needs of individual students
  • high expectations of pupils' effort and behaviour, and facilitate this with proven classroom management skills
  • be organised and able to prioritise to meet deadlines
  • be motivated and use initiative to contribute to the success of the department
  • be a native level English speaker
  • have a good working knowledge of ICT systems and the application of ICT in the classroom

Additional desirable criteria include previous experience in an international school and recent experience as a teacher in a school in the UK.
