Science Teacher Job Opportunity at Runnymede College

We are seeking an outstanding Science teacher to join our team at Runnymede College in Madrid, Spain. The successful candidate will be passionate about Science and committed to achieving the very best for pupils at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Science to students following the British National Curriculum
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to cater to different learning styles
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and resource lessons
  • Contribute to the development of the Science department
Requirements:
  • Good honours degree from a British University
  • PGCE or other equivalent qualified teacher status for Science teaching
  • Excellent teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues
  • Ability to modify learning strategies to target individual student needs
  • High expectations of pupils' effort and behaviour, with proven classroom management skills
  • Organised and able to prioritise to meet deadlines
  • Motivated and able to use initiative to contribute to the success of the department
  • Native level English speaker
  • Good working knowledge of ICT systems and application in the classroom
