About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ES - Systems Engineer Leader to join our team at Bertrandt. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of complex systems engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Manage and lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Development Planning: Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
  • Technical Specification: Create and maintain technical specifications, including system architecture, design, and testing.
  • Capitalization: Ensure that project knowledge and best practices are captured and shared across the organization.
  • Validation Planning: Develop and implement validation plans to ensure that systems meet required standards and regulations.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Team Management: Manage and lead a team of engineers and technicians to achieve project goals.
  • Problem-Solving: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve system performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronic/Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in automotive systems engineering, with a focus on engine systems and vehicle architecture.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of control systems, including GMP thermal, hybrid, and electrical systems. Experience with DOORS and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Language: Fluent in English, with French language skills a plus.
