Position Overview

As a Lead Systems Engineer at Bertrandt, you will be responsible for overseeing various engineering teams to ensure project objectives are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directing multiple teams to achieve project goals.
  • Providing technical oversight on project expectations and modifications throughout the development phase.
  • Aligning development schedules with the overall project timeline.
  • Creating comprehensive technical specifications.
  • Facilitating the capitalization of development efforts.
  • Coordinating the review and dissemination of validation plans among all stakeholders.
  • Tracking system validations through LIS dashboards for each initiative.
  • Conducting weekly meetings to monitor validation progress.
  • Engaging in problem-solving discussions and providing arbitration to address significant challenges.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic/Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in the automotive sector, specifically in engine systems engineering and vehicle architecture.
  • Solid understanding of thermal control systems (gasoline), hybrid systems, and electrical components.
  • Proven experience in writing specifications and validation plans.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze technical specifications.
  • Proficient in DOORS software.
  • Strong command of English for document comprehension and quality deliverables; proficiency in French is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced communication and leadership abilities.
