Energy Transition Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Transition Specialist to join our Green Transition team at ICF. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients achieve their net zero emissions targets and transition to a low-carbon economy.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage energy and climate technical assistance contracts, focusing on product life cycle assessments and the circular economy.
- Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality results.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Contribute to business development activities, identifying new opportunities and developing proposals to secure new contracts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects, sharing expertise and best practices to drive success.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental economics, or a related field.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Expertise in product Life Cycle Analysis and the circular economy.
- Proven experience in winning and delivering energy and climate consulting projects for public sector clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Masters' degree in engineering or a related field.
- Experience in leading and managing multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary consulting teams.
- High proficiency in Excel, VBA, and relevant online tools to optimize operational processes.
