We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team at Octopus Energy Group. As a key member of our data platform team, you'll play a crucial role in building and maintaining our data infrastructure, pipelines, and sources.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop new data sources and pipelines to deliver key data and insights to the business
- Collaborate with data science and analytics teams to maintain and develop central data models in dbt
- Build and maintain testing and documentation frameworks for data sources
- Work with the business to scope and deliver new data engineering projects and requirements
- Maintain and enhance existing data infrastructure and tools
- Support the internationalization of our data infrastructure as we continue to grow globally
We want our Data Engineers to be great software engineers with a passion for writing high-quality code. You'll have a strong background in data engineering, experience with cloud-based data platforms, and a keen eye for detail.
