Job Description:

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials and Processes Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Airbus. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for leading Materials and Processes Quality Assurance activities in support of our projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the project Product Assurance Manager in ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Participate in customer reviews, such as Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Equipment Qualification Status Review (EQSR), and Manufacturing Readiness Review (MRR), for electronic assemblies.
  • Lead the Materials and Process Control Board (MPCB) and provide technical justifications for Materials and Processes (M&P) requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of qualification plans, follow progress, and validate qualification reports.
  • Validate product drawings, including Assembly drawings, Surface treatment drawings, and interface drawings, as well as the product DML (Declared Materials List) submitted by the Packaging Engineering team.
  • Support the Manufacturing Engineer in validating the product DPL (Declared Processes List).

Requirements:

  • Engineer with proven knowledge in Electronic Manufacturing, preferably in the Space environment.
  • Knowledge of Materials validations, Processes implementation, and control.
  • Knowledge of ECSS and/or IPC standards.
  • Knowledge of Quality Certification Systems, such as EN9100.

Language:

English and Spanish must be at negotiation level.

Work Experience:

  • Experience in Material validation and Processes Control for 3 to 5 years.
  • Experience in Quality Department for at least 1 year, preferably 3 to 5 years.

  • Methodical and organized approach.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Motivation and a strong team spirit.
