Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be part of the EAQA Team based in a dynamic site where he/she will lead Materials and Processes Quality Assurance activities, in support to the PA Manager, Engineering, and Operations, in the frame of various projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support to the Project Product Assurance Manager:
    • Assist in M&P topics related to electronic assemblies, participating in customer reviews such as Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Equipment Qualification Status Review (EQSR), or Manufacturing Readiness Review (MRR)
    • Responsible for the Materials and Process Control Board (MPCB)
    • Provide the status of conformance (SoC) for materials and processes (M&P) requirements, request for approval (RFA), and give M&P inputs on critical item lists to the PA
    • Participate in MIP activities, providing technical justifications
  • Support to Engineering:
    • Validate qualification plans initiated by the Technology team, follow the progress of the qualification, and validate qualification reports
    • Contribute to PCB layout design reviews at the interface with the Packaging Engineering team
    • Validate product drawings (Assembly drawings, Surface treatment drawings, interface drawings...) and the product DML (Declared Materials List) submitted by the Packaging Engineering, ensuring the control of qualification status or activities during development phases
  • Support to Operations:
    • Validate manufacturing files, Manufacturing Flow Chart, and execution files in case of repair, ensuring that all processes involved are conform to PID or approved through specific qualifications covering project needs
    • Validate the product DPL (Declared Processes List) submitted by the Manufacturing Engineer, allowing the control of qualification status or activities during development phases
Requirements:
  • Education:
    • Engineer with proven knowledge in Electronic Manufacturing sector, desirable in Space environment
    • Knowledge on Materials validations
    • Knowledge on Processes implementation and control
    • Knowledge of ECSS and/or IPC standards
    • Knowledge of Quality Certification Systems such as EN9100
  • Language:
    • English and Spanish must be negotiation level
  • Work Experience:
    • Experience in Material validation and Processes Control for 3 to 5 years
    • Experience in Quality Department for at least 1 year, desirable 3 to 5
  • Soft Skills:
    • Capability to integrate and work in multidisciplinary team
