Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at HITACHI ENERGY SPAIN, S.A.U. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Review pending notifications from SAP and set priorities for the Maintenance main subcontractor.
  • Solve major technical, equipment, or facilities problems to achieve higher performance of production lines.
  • Maintain tools and repair equipment in good working order.
  • Propose improvement projects for processes and production lines to reduce ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and optimize operational and energy efficiency.
  • Respond to emergencies, break-downs, malfunctions, and other operating problems to minimize disruption to production process.
  • Implement health, safety, and environmental guidelines and directives to ensure safety of people and resources.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment.
  • Master Degree in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Specific training in maintenance management, predictive techniques, and TPM.
  • Computer experience in Windows, Excel, Word, and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts.
  • We will value additional knowledge like: SAP and GMAO.
  • Self-motivated/Self-driven, enthusiastic, cooperative, positive behavior, and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Good communication and critical thinking skills with the ability to train individuals as well as lead.
  • Very good written & spoken English.
