About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled On Board Design Engineer Leader to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing railway systems that meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement system designs for railway systems, including architecture, interfaces, and installation
  • Verify the installation of railway systems to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
  • Manage technical aspects of railway projects, including configuration, change control, and requirements
  • Solve technical issues related to railway projects and ensure that project performance requirements are met
  • Collect and maintain technical data related to railway systems and ensure that it is up-to-date
  • Participate in gate reviews to provide status updates on system activities
  • Support application projects in ATC ONB current and future projects
Requirements
  • University degree in engineering related to electric, electronic, or automation processes
  • 3 years of internal experience as OnBoard Railways Engineer or similar in other markets
  • At least 1 year of experience as system engineer
  • Technical knowledge of signalling, ERTMS, TCMS, MVB, ATP, ATO, SIFA, system design, installation design, installation verification, and data preparation
  • Knowledge of UNISIG Subsets, especially Subset-026, 108, 027, and 076 is an advantage
  • Command of English: fluent in conversation and mastered in reading and writing
  • French is desirable
  • Windows environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
