Global Payroll Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Payroll Expert to join our team at Volotea. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for the preparation and processing of monthly payroll for different countries, including Italy, Greece, and Germany.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and process monthly payroll for multiple countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, HR teams, and payroll providers, to resolve payroll-related queries and issues.
- Act as the first point of contact for payroll enquiries and cases, providing excellent customer service and support.
- Register and update employee information in our database, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Prepare analysis and reports on payroll data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Support projects impacting payroll, providing expertise and guidance as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes in your countries of operation, ensuring compliance and advising on best practices.
- Recommend innovative approaches and procedures to improve payroll processes and efficiency.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a skilled payroll specialist, with knowledge and expertise in European payroll.
- Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in Excel.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all deliverables.
- Fluent in English and Spanish, with Italian a plus.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal direction, and as part of a global team.
- Proactive and positive attitude towards global payroll tasks, process improvements, and changes.
