Structures Engineer for A320 Fleet

Vueling is seeking a highly skilled Structures Engineer to join our CAMO Engineering department. As a subject matter expert, you will provide structures engineering support for the A320 fleet, ensuring the highest level of airworthiness and safety.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage structural issues affecting the fleet, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Analyze and control structural airworthiness directives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support for line and base maintenance activities, as well as AOG recovery, to reduce ground time and improve aircraft availability.
  • Ensure accurate analysis and reporting of structural damages, guaranteeing continuous airworthiness.
  • Update the damage map to reduce operational impact.
  • Control configuration for structural components to maintain fleet standardization.
  • Analyze, implement, and monitor structural non-mandatory modifications to improve reliability.
  • Conduct technical assessments of aircraft structures-related instructions for continued airworthiness (ICA) in accordance with the approved maintenance program.
  • Drive business improvement initiatives to optimize operational performance and efficiency.
  • Assist with AMOS data migration of ex-factory and second-hand aircraft.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree or aircraft maintenance engineer certification are essential.
  • At least 3 years of previous experience in a structures engineer role within a CAMO/Part 145 department is desired.
Competencies
  • Capable of working in a high-pressured and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
