Vueling is seeking a skilled Aircraft Structures Engineer to join our CAMO Engineering department. As a subject matter expert, you will provide structures engineering support for the A320 fleet.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage structural issues affecting the fleet.
- Analyze and control structural airworthiness directives.
- Provide technical support for line/base maintenance activity and AOG recovery to reduce ground time and improve aircraft availability.
- Ensure accurate analysis and reporting of structural damages to guarantee continuous airworthiness.
- Update the damage map to reduce operational impact.
- Control configuration for structural components to maintain fleet standardization.
- Analyze, implement, and monitor structural non-mandatory modifications to improve reliability.
- Conduct technical assessments of aircraft structures-related instructions for continued airworthiness (ICA) in accordance with the approved maintenance program.
- Drive business improvement initiatives to optimize operational performance and efficiency.
- Assist with AMOS data migration of ex-factory and second-hand aircraft.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree or aircraft maintenance engineer certification are essential.
- At least 3 years of previous experience in a structures engineer role within a CAMO/Part 145 department is desired.
Competencies:
- Ability to work in a high-pressured and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Language:
- English: C1.
- Spanish: C1.
